Changes to Fees Effective from 1 January 2026

We would like to inform you that as of 1st January 2026, certain fees applied in university dormitories will change.

The following fees will change:

1. Bedding service fee
EUR 40 (VAT included) – previously EUR 35 (VAT included).

2. Car parking fee (parking areas with a barrier)
EUR 15/month (VAT included) – previously EUR 10/month (VAT included).

3. Fee for a damaged door lock
– a new EUR 30 fee is introduced for a damaged door lock.

4. Payment for cleaning services of premises
From 2026, students will be required to pay for cleaning services if the premises are found to be unclean. The decision to clean the premises is made based on the dormitory inspection checklist, and the cleaning cost is calculated according to the rates set out in the contract between the university and the cleaning company.

5. Increase in penalty fees

  • EUR 15 if a resident is issued a remark – previously EUR 10;

  • EUR 20 if a resident is issued a warning – previously EUR 15;

  • EUR 25 if a resident is issued a strict warning – previously EUR 20.

Reasons for the fee changes

The increase in fees is due to rising service maintenance costs related to inflation, wage increases, and higher operating expenses. The increase in penalty fees aims to prevent unlawful actions by students through the application of financial deterrents.

We encourage students to familiarize themselves with the changes. Thank you for your understanding and responsible approach to maintaining order in the dormitory.
