In order to have a long-term place of accommodation at the Dormitory of VMU dormitory for the next academic year (ten months) or at least one semester (five months), current students of VMU have to reserve for residence in advance. Reservations for the upcoming academic year or Autumn semester (for accommodation starting from February) – from December to January. Detailed information about the terms and conditions will be published on the official website of the university www.vdu.lt/en and http://accommodation.vdu.lt.
In order to have a long-term place of accommodation at the dormitories of VMU for a current academic year, international students shall reserve it from the List of Vacant Rooms by following the steps provided below:
- login to http://studentas.vdu.lt or http://accommodation.vdu.lt (VMU students accommodation), with your VMU login credentials and in the section Dormitories / Accommodation in Student Rooms one of the places of residence from the provided list. NOTE: list of vacant rooms in VMU dormitories is updated constantly;
- receive an e-mail which is sent to your VMU mailbox with the information, if your room reservation in the dormitory of Vytautas Magnus University was confirmed or declined (university keeps a right to decline any reservation);
- receive second e-mail send to your VMU mailbox about prepared Agreement for Accommodation and further procedures of moving-in into the dormitory. Within three (3) working days after receiving this e-mail you need to: sign your online Agreement for Accommodation;
- move-in into the dormitory within the period indicated in the second email (check-in procedure).
Students of VMU, who are interested in a short-term accommodation, can reserve themselves a place of residence in the guest rooms for a period not longer than 30 (thirty) consecutive calendar days.
Reservations for short-term accommodation shall be made by following this procedure:
- login to http://studentas.vdu.lt or http://accommodation.vdu.lt (VMU students accommodation), with your VMU login credentials, in the section Dormitories / Accommodation in Guest Rooms reserve one of the places of residence from the provided list of vacant rooms;
- receive an e-mail which is sent to your VMU mailbox with the information, if your room reservation in the dormitory of Vytautas Magnus University was confirmed or declined (University keeps a right to decline any reservation);
- receive second e-mail send to your VMU mailbox about prepared Agreement for Accommodation and sign your online Agreement for Accommodation within three (3) working days after receiving e-mail;
- check-in into the dormitory on a reservation date (check-in procedure).
